These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the PrintMyWiFi website at printmywifi.com (the "Service") operated by PrintMyWiFi ("we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you may not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

PrintMyWiFi is a free online tool that generates 3D-printable STL files containing QR codes encoded with WiFi network credentials. Users provide their WiFi network name (SSID) and password, select configuration options (size, colors, label), and receive a downloadable STL file suitable for 3D printing.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

Use the Service to generate QR codes for WiFi networks you do not own or have authorization to share · Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Service's infrastructure · Use automated scripts or bots to make bulk requests without prior permission · Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service · Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable local, national, or international laws.

3. WiFi Credentials

Your responsibility. You are solely responsible for the WiFi credentials you enter into the Service. By generating a QR code, you acknowledge that anyone who scans the resulting physical QR code will be able to connect to the specified network. You should only share credentials for networks you own or are authorized to share.

No storage. As described in our Privacy Policy, we do not store, log, or retain your WiFi credentials. We are not responsible for the security of credentials once they are encoded into a QR code and physically printed.

4. Generated Files

License. The STL and 3MF files generated by the Service are provided under a Standard Digital File License. You may print the files for personal use only. You shall not share, sub-license, sell, rent, host, transfer, or distribute the digital or 3D printed versions of the generated files, nor any derivative work in digital or physical format. This includes hosting on other platforms and remixing. The files may not be used in any way in which you charge money or collect fees without prior written permission.

No guarantees of scannability. While we make every effort to generate valid, scannable QR codes, we do not guarantee that every generated QR code will be successfully readable by every device or camera application. Scannability depends on print quality, material, color contrast, lighting, and the scanning device.

3D printing results. We provide STL geometry files only. Print quality, structural integrity, and fitness for purpose depend entirely on your 3D printer, materials, settings, and post-processing. We are not responsible for failed prints, material waste, or printer damage.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, branding, and documentation, is the intellectual property of PrintMyWiFi and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute the Service itself.

The QR code standard is open and royalty-free. The WiFi QR code format is an industry standard. No license fees are associated with the generated QR code content.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, that defects will be corrected, or that the generated files will meet your specific requirements.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PrintMyWiFi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, regardless of the cause of action or the theory of liability.

This includes, without limitation, damages arising from: unauthorized access to your WiFi network by third parties who scan a printed QR code · failed or defective 3D prints · incompatibility of generated STL files with specific software or hardware · any interruption or cessation of the Service.

8. Security Considerations

A QR code containing WiFi credentials is functionally equivalent to writing your password on a sign. Anyone with physical access to the printed QR code can extract the network name and password. You should:

Only print QR codes for guest networks or networks where open access is intended · Avoid printing QR codes for sensitive or high-security networks · Consider using a separate guest network with limited access for shared QR codes · Change your WiFi password if a printed QR code is lost or compromised · Place printed QR codes in locations where only intended users have access.

9. Availability

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

10. Rate Limiting

We may impose rate limits on API requests to ensure fair usage and protect the Service. Excessive automated requests may be temporarily or permanently blocked.

11. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or resources. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites. You access third-party links at your own risk.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which PrintMyWiFi operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
