Create a 3D-Printed WiFi QR Code Sign

Turn your WiFi network into a small physical object guests can scan instead of typing. Enter your network name and password, pick a size and color, and download a 3D-printable file. Nothing you type is stored or shared - it only goes into the file you download.

How it works

1

Enter your network

Type your WiFi name and password, or a guest network you're happy to share.

2

Choose a size and finish

Pick a plate size and colors. Add a header and room number if it's for a hotel room or Airbnb.

3

Print and place

Download the STL or dual-color 3MF, print it, and set it on a desk or stick it to the fridge.

Frequently asked questions

Is my WiFi password stored anywhere?+

No. Your network name and password are only used to generate the QR code and the file you download. We don't store, log, or share them - this is the same policy described in our Privacy Policy.

What's the difference between the STL and 3MF file?+

STL is a single color and works with any 3D printer and slicer. 3MF keeps the base plate and the QR code as two separate color regions, so a slicer like Bambu Studio or PrusaSlicer can assign two filament colors automatically - no manual layer pausing needed.

Will the QR code actually scan once it's printed?+

Yes. The code is generated with enough error correction to stay scannable even with a WiFi icon embedded in the center. For the most reliable scan, print with a contrasting base and module color, or use the dual-color 3MF file, and keep the plate at 50mm or larger.

What size should I print?+

50–70mm works well for a desk, nightstand, or fridge. Go larger - 100mm or more - for a reception desk or somewhere people will scan it from a few steps away.

Can I use this for a hotel room or Airbnb, not just my home network?+

Yes. Add a header like "Hotel WiFi" and a sub-label like "Room 204" to make a guest room card, and turn on the desk stand tab so it can stand upright on a nightstand or counter instead of lying flat.

Do I need a specific 3D printer?+

Any FDM printer with a standard 0.4mm nozzle works. For the crispest QR modules, print at a 0.12–0.2mm layer height.

Can I sell the plates or files I make?+

The files are for personal use. You can print and use them yourself, but reselling, redistributing, or hosting the generated files elsewhere isn't covered by the license - see our Terms & Conditions for the full policy.

I don't have a 3D printer - can I still get one printed?+

If you're in Europe, we offer a print-on-demand service based in Belgium. Check the print service page for details and a quote.
